1st in Sri Lanka to Introduce NCC Education – UK (1988)
IDM was the first institute in Sri Lanka to offer the prestigious NCC Education qualifications way back in year 1988.
Established as the National Computing Center of UK in 1966 by the UK Government, NCC Education started offering IT qualifications in 1976 and from 1997 developed its Higher Education portfolio to include Business programs.
It is one of the oldest educational qualification awarding bodies in the UK. Today, NCC Education has an extensive network of Accredited Partner Centers in over 50 countries.
To date over 1,000,000 students have boosted their careers with the globally recognized NCC Education qualifications (L4, L5 and L7).
This has enabled them to obtain top-up degrees and master qualifications from top ranked universities in the world, which all recognize the NCC Education qualifications for their quality and standards.
